Overview: The Vice President, Global Intellectual Property will lead a global team responsible for company-wide protection and development of Agilent’s broad intellectual property portfolio consisting of life science, diagnostic and analytical instrumentation products, software, and solutions.

Location: Santa Clara, CA; or remote possibility with travel as necessary.
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of combined law firm and in-house corporate experience in the medical device, life sciences, and/or in vitro diagnostics sectors. Broad experience with portfolio management, IP litigation and transactions, and strategic global IP planning is required. Must have at least 5 years in progressively increasing IP leadership roles and a proven track record of leading IP teams. Educational background in life sciences field is required.
