Special Counsel has an immediate opening for a Senior Contracts Manager for a Fortune 100 leading manufacturing corporation. This position is an excellent opportunity to join a global strategic business group which provides customers with a broad product portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities of this Senior Contracts Manager job include, but are not limited to: - Responsible for ensuring excellent contracts and legal support in a complex and fast-paced business environment - Lead and Manage Contracts Managers who support the core business - Perform contract management services for core business; provide leadership, direction, and consultation to stakeholders, business leaders, and team personnel - Drive consistent policies and processes in support of business objectives
Required Skills and Experience: - Bachelor's Degree and JD/law degree required - Minimum of 5 years work experience in contract management and/or transactional work experience as an attorney required - Minimum of 3 years experience as an attorney in commercial contracting and/or construction contracting required - At least 3 years of management experience, directly supervising a team of professional staff - Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, manage, and motivate others - Self-starter with the ability to work independently, autonomously, and demonstrate sound judgement as a business enabler - Ability to travel up to 15% (domestic only)
