Overview: Under the direction of the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for EMCOR, and in coordination with the Assistant General Counsel for EMCOR Construction Services (“ECS”), the Construction Counsel – ECS prepares, revises and assesses commercial construction contracts and advises on construction claims and litigation for a nationwide group of electrical and mechanical operating companies with annual revenues of $3.5+ billion.

Location: McLean, VA
Compensation: Competitive base and bonus.
Experience: 6+ years of experience practicing construction law, with a focus on construction litigation and contracts, obtained at a leading law firm and/or in-house legal setting.
Travel: As needed, post pandemic. Approximately 20%, with more travel initially once the successful candidate is able to visit ECS sites and meet business leaders.
