Overview: Global Payments Inc. seeks an experienced Corporate Counsel to join its legal team in Atlanta, GA. This attorney will be primarily responsible for advising and supporting the North America Issuer Solutions legal and business teams with regard to cloud technology transformation, including structuring, drafting and negotiating contract terms for existing and new clients, and new products and services, as part of the Issuer Solutions team’s modernization transformation. The position is part of a collegial team of attorneys and contract managers and reports to the Vice President – Senior Associate General Counsel.
Areas of emphasis in this role are cloud services, financial technology outsourcing and technology platform interaction. Success in this role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in identifying key legal issues, finding creative solutions to complicated legal problems, and effectively communicating such matters to internal stakeholders and customers.

Experience: The successful candidate will have 5+ years of relevant corporate transactional experience focused on technology, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience. Prior payments or financial services industry experience is preferred but not required.
