This position is responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the Commission and staff under the general supervision of the Chief Legal Officer. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, drafting and negotiating contracts, including service agreements, NDAs, supply purchase agreements, licensing agreements, real estate agreements, construction agreements, renewable energy certificate purchase agreements, and interlocal agreements, drafting and reviewing resolutions, and supporting PWC’s procurement and public records functions with legal advice and analysis. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, conducting legal research, drafting memoranda, drafting and reviewing legislation, ordinances, regulations, and rate schedules, preparing and reviewing internal policies, training employees, appearing in court and regulatory proceedings, participating in litigation and dispute settlements, and monitoring regulatory proceedings and legislative developments. |
