The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) is the world's largest organization serving the professional and business interests of attorneys who practice in the legal departments of corporations, associations, nonprofits and other private-sector organizations around the globe.
We are working with a publicly traded Company that has a need for an attorney with 4+ years experience (preferably mid-level 5-10). In this role, you will work directly with the GC and you will collaborate with the leadership team.
The candidate must have regulatory experience, particularly in the financial services area - knowledge of TILA, FCRA, FACTA, FDCPA, ECOA, BSA/AML, OFAC, TCPA.
Experience with financial services regulatory law, consumer spending laws and compliance experience (particularly in the areas of money services businesses, payment systems, and FinTech companies). Experience with BSA/AML and OFAC sanctions compliance, consumer compliance and commercial lending is a plus.
It would help if the attorney has familiarity with board meeting, books, resolutions, minutes, etc.
The attorney would assist the GC in all legal, regulatory, compliance and acquisition matters involving the Company. The attorney would also oversee corporate communications and development.
Total Compensation is competitive and includes base, bonus, and equity.
