The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) is the world's largest organization serving the professional and business interests of attorneys who practice in the legal departments of corporations, associations, nonprofits and other private-sector organizations around the globe.
We represent a global investment manager looking to hire an attorney with a minimum of three years of experience to support UCITS funds and foreign affiliate corporate governance. The role will work closely with senior management, fund administration, international offices, and the compliance team.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
Monitor regulatory changes across the globe affecting current business lines and future initiatives
Provide legal advice and support on issues relating to UCITS funds with emphasis on contracts, distribution, maintenance, marketing and sales practices.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience supporting UCITS and/or other funds, including in commercial contracts with distributors and intermediaries, distribution regulation, and fund governance
Some familiarity interpreting and assisting in the implementation of new regulations and regulatory changes – experience or familiarity with working with foreign jurisdictions and/or regulators a pl
