The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) is the world's largest organization serving the professional and business interests of attorneys who practice in the legal departments of corporations, associations, nonprofits and other private-sector organizations around the globe.
Overview: Reporting to Aptar’s General Counsel, the Assistant Corporate Secretary, Securities (“Securities Counsel”) will be responsible for providing advice and guidance for corporate, capital markets, securities, SEC and NYSE reporting and compliance, and corporate governance matters, and will support the legal team in other areas including transactions, operations, and commercial matters. The Securities Counsel will provide daily cross functional support to, and work collaboratively with, team members throughout the organization, including finance, operations, and HR.
Experience: 3-7 years of corporate experience at a nationally recognized law firm (together with in-house experience a plus). Detailed understanding of SEC and NYSE disclosure and reporting requirements and corporate governance matters. Bachelor’s degree and J.D. required.
Compensation: Competitive package commensurate with experience.
Relocation: Local candidates preferred.
Bar: Active member in good standing to the Illinois State Bar.
