The Corporate Counsel will use best efforts to ensure that FOCUS Brands' corporate business practices, policies, contracting, and actions protect FOCUS Brands' from potential legal liability. This position will attain and maintain an in-depth knowledge of FOCUS Brands' business structure, business practices and strategy, and advise on a wide variety of legal requirements that apply to FOCUS Brands and its subsidiaries and affiliates, including but not limited to, corporate contract law and, corporate business matters.
At least 7-10 years of experience in a law firm or related business setting with 4-7 years’ experience in contract negotiations, litigation management and general corporate counsel matters. Mergers & Acquisitions experience and franchise organization and/or restaurant/quick food industry a plus. Bachelor’s degree and J.D. required. Member in good standing of a state bar.
