Overview: HomeServe USA Corp. seeks to hire a Deputy General Counsel based in Norwalk, Connecticut. The primary responsibility of this position will be leading M&A and Commercial Transactions but will also involve a wide range of other legal matters. This role will report directly to the General Counsel.

Compensation: Competitive compensation consisting of a base salary and a target annual bonus.
Location: Norwalk, CT
Relocation: Local candidates preferred.
Qualifications and Experience: Candidates must have (a) at least 12 years of experience practicing as an attorney with a national or international law firm and/or in-house legal department; prior in-house experience strongly preferred; (b) experience advising on strategic M&A, investments, corporate finance and corporate transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, equity investments and financings; (c) experience drafting and negotiating other commercial contracts; and (d) strong academic credentials with a J.D. from a leading law school; admission to the CT bar or another jurisdiction with authorized In-house counsel status in CT.
