We are a boutique retained search firm with over twenty years of experience focusing on executive search and consulting for in-house corporate and compliance departments. Our client, an NYSE corporation in the Chicago area, has retained us on an exclusive basis to recruit an Assistant General Counsel to join its dynamic law department.
The newly created position will serve as the Company's senior employment attorney, and will function as a key member of the law department's senior leadership team. The AGC will provide advice and guidance on a variety of employment and employment litigation matters.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional individual to broaden their experience and potentially succeed the Company's head of Litigation and Employment.
We seek an attorney with a minimum of ten years of progressive employment and litigation experience with both a national law firm and a premier corporate law department. Experience litigating single plaintiff and class/representative action employment lawsuits as well as managing the full range of employee policies for companies of a similar size and complexity is key. Outstanding academic and work credentials, stellar business acumen, and a proven record of successfully working with management to drive projects and processes forward in a lean, fast paced, team-oriented environment are prerequisites.

Additional Salary Information: Our client offers an attractive compensation package. It is expected that the legal department will continue to work virtually through December of 2020. There is a strong preference for hiring a local candidate, but relocation assistance will be considered for exceptional individuals.
