Overview: The University of Southern California seeks an experienced healthcare attorney to support its Keck Medicine of USC health enterprise. This is a unique opportunity to develop and foster a broad health care practice with interdisciplinary breadth and depth. The Healthcare Counsel position will advance Keck Medicine’s mission by advising Keck Medicine of USC hospitals and healthcare providers regarding day-to-day operational matters and requires a general health law background.
Company: The University of Southern California is one of the world’s leading private research Universities. The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California was established in 1885 as the region’s first medical school and the second professional school founded at USC.
Experience: 5+ years’ experience practicing law in healthcare, at a law firm or in a governmental agency in one or more legal specialties. Demonstrated experience with healthcare-related business transactions or litigation (e.g., licensing board actions, healthcare fraud and abuse laws). Experience in healthcare law, mergers and acquisitions, academic research, compliance, medical malpractice, healthcare regulatory affairs, and/or governmental relations.
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Relocation: Yes, this is a national search.
Bar: Must be a member in good standing of one State Bar, preferably California.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
