Major, Lindsey & Africa has been exclusively retained by Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. to conduct a search for a Vice President – Real Estate Legal Affairs (“Vice President”) for their global headquarters location in Pasadena, CA.

Position: The Vice-President-Real Estate Legal Affairs will report to the General Counsel and will play an integral role in the Company’s legal team and as an advisor to the business. The Vice President will have responsibility for managing and/or directly handling a wide variety of regional real estate matters, including leasing, asset management, acquisitions and sales. This individual will work closely with senior management, outside counsel and internal personnel.
Experience: The ideal candidate will be a licensed attorney with a minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience as a transactional/real estate attorney. Must have extensive commercial real estate transaction knowledge, including working on leasing, asset management, acquisitions, sales, financing and joint ventures.
