Position Overview: Leidos is seeking an accomplished attorney with a distinguished professional record to join its team as an Assistant General Counsel - Securities, Governance and Transactions. The position will report directly to the SVP, Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and work closely with various members of the legal, corporate development, accounting, and finance departments.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated attorney, experienced in corporate and securities law and the legal aspects of transactions involving mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other matters.
Experience: 5+ years as a practicing attorney, with significant SEC, public company reporting, corporate governance, and M&A experience. Foundational corporate securities training obtained at a nationally-recognized law firm is highly preferred.
Compensation: Competitive base and bonus.
Location: Reston, VA.
