Parker + Lynch Legal has been exclusively retained to identify the next VP of Product Development for a multinational biopharmaceutical company with a remarkable commitment to both patients and innovation.
This VP-level position is a senior member of the legal leadership team, reporting directly to the General Counsel. The VP of Product Development will serve as a strategic leader for the pipeline expansion and growth, including global partnerships and collaborations. This role will manage legal teams responsible for supporting the Company's intellectual property strategy, manufacturing technical operations activities, pre-clinical and clinical trial activities, quality and regulatory affairs. Ideal candidates will have deep industry knowledge and a proven track-record of supporting strategic growth and product development.
Required Professional Qualifications:
A minimum of 12 years of experience working with a large or mid-sized pharmaceutical company in the areas of global drug development, R&D, strategic planning, or relevant areas;
A minimum of 5-7 years of people leadership experience in building, managing and/or developing high-performing, collaborative teams;
Proven track record of providing strategic regulatory advice for the global development of products;
Expertise regarding legal and contractual support of clinical trials/studies and outsourcing service providers and health care institutions as well as investigator-initiated trials;
Experience managing complex legal issues for multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment;
Experience successfully developing and driving IP strategies;
Experience collaborating with key resources and stakeholders, influencing decisions and managing work to achieve strategic goals and shared objectives; and
Demonstrated ability to analyze issues, identify problem areas and provide the leadership necessary to effect change in a fast-paced environment while remaining mission-focused.
