Position Overview: The Principal Deputy General Counsel, Operations will be responsible for the day-to-day operations for the Company’s legal business and operational matters, specifically regarding government contracting, employment, and international matters. The Principal Deputy General Counsel will work collaboratively with executive leadership and supervise staff attorneys, paralegals, and staff. The successful candidate will support the Company’s mission and strategy and understand the environment in which the company operates. The successful candidate will support the SVP, Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel (who sits in Northern Virginia) and will engage with outside counsel as appropriate and provide legal and strategic guidance as requested.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in government contracting and corporate law obtained at a reputable law firm and in-house. Demonstrated leadership experience is essential for this role. Employment law experience is highly preferred.
Compensation: Competitive base, bonus and equity.
Location: Colorado Springs, CO or Northern Virginia.
