Our client, a Fortune 75 technology driven company, is seeking an experienced technology transactions lawyer to join their team as their lead lawyer for a new business unit dedicated to unmanned aerial systems, including flying taxis, hybrid-electric engines, microsatellites, autonomous flight, advanced data analytics and hundreds of other innovations that are changing flying.

We’re looking for a strategic thinker who is predisposed to act with agility within high-performing teams to help create new markets and achieve breakthrough performance.
A successful candidate for this position should have entrepreneurial instincts. This person should be a strong business partner that can balance competing priorities and demonstrate effective collaborative skills to partner with senior leaders across a broad range of functions and geographies. A candidate for this role should have strong legal and business acumen pertaining to technology transactions including technology and software license agreements and demonstrated experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and joint development arrangement. This individual will be expected to provide strategic leadership and tactical advice to deliver rapid breakthrough growth.
Candidates must have the following qualifications in order to be considered:
-Seven to twelve years of broad-based legal experience, specifically in the areas of technology transactions; IP Licensing and corporate transactions
-New business experience is a plus
-Ability to collaborate with broad organizations and functions.
-Business, financial acumen and critical thinking skills.
-Track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams
