Our client, a publicly traded medical device company, is looking to hire an Associate General Counsel for its growing legal department. The company is a pioneer in interventional treatment products.
This AGC will report directly to the General Counsel and be responsible for a diverse portfolio of legal matters, including SEC compliance and filings, general corporate matters, and corporate governance work such as preparation of board and shareholder meeting materials. The AGC will also assist in commercial matters, compliance issues, and day-to-day legal issues.
The optimal candidate will have 7 to 12 years of corporate law experience. Medical device experience is a highly valued plus.
The candidate must be an attorney who thrives in a fast paced, highly responsive, and collaborative environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, sound business and legal judgment are also required.
