The Senior Counsel – Employment Law will be responsible for acting as the primary provider of legal support with respect to employment law, employee benefits and employment-related litigation management in the US for Maersk. Senior Counsel will provide counsel to on a diverse set of matters across a broad array of transportation businesses and will work closely with the HR organization on all matters, including investigations, discharge and leave matters (e.g., ADA, FMLA and PTO). Will also take a lead role in employment agreements and responding to administrative charges of discrimination and retaliation (e.g., Title VII, ADEA, and ADA) and oversee federal and state wage and hour investigations. The Sr. Counsel – Employment Law will also be part of the US legal leadership team.

Must have 7+ years of employment law and employee benefits-related subject matter expertise.
Prior experience as an in-house counsel is a plus.
