7-10+ years managing all stages of litigation including complex electronic discovery – Juris Doctor degree from ABA approved law school together with current license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction – Proficient with eDiscovery review platforms and early case assessment software – Proficient with computers and software including Office 365, project management and legal research including Westlaw. – Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing – Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and with clients – Ability to review, evaluate and summarize large volumes of information quickly and accurately – Comfortable working independently and as part of a team – Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple details on multiple matters efficiently and effectively – Ability to perform well under stringent deadline pressure – Desire to build credibility by writing for firm blog and publishing content on other platforms – Additional points for experience in or interest in privacy and/or cybersecurity and desire to establish or grow practice – Proactive — identifies issues and finds solutions to recommend – Someone who exudes professionalism in all areas of their life
– Review pleadings, understand theories and limits of discovery – Developing ediscovery strategy consistent with client goals and case variables – Knowledge and implementation of legal hold processes – Conducting custodian interviews and follow-ups – Identifying issues for and drafting ESI protocol – Management of document review and databases – Deep dives into data to understand and formulate strategy – Proactive client communication – Creating, producing and analyzing privilege logs – Coordinating of all discovery for and managing tracking for matters – Drafting case specific discovery report outlining all actions taken on matter – Providing input for drafting client budgets – Handling other client tasks as required by matter – Working with clients on Information Governance initiatives as follow ups from litigation – Consulting on legal operations setup for clients – Reviewing and providing recommendations on legal technology
