Overview: The Strategic Advisor will work as part of the Strategic Advisory Team. At Brown Advisory, the Strategic Advisory team is a group of attorneys and other specialists, who create and/or implement customized financial and estate planning solutions for individuals and families, in addition to providing expertise across our two trust companies. Paired with a Private Client Portfolio Manager, a Strategic Advisor is responsible for developing and executing plans on a wide range of wealth management issues in coordination with a client’s outside advisors.

Compensation: Competitive base and bonus commensurate with experience.
JD or CPA well-versed in a broad range of wealth management and investment strategies.
A high level of sophistication and flexibility in understanding and implementing wealth management planning strategies throughout 10+ years of experience either (1) working in a law firm on estate planning, wealth management, or business and tax planning or (2) working in an investment firm on wealth management matters for high net worth individuals or entities.
Must be able to convey a consultative approach to client relationship management and business development and display a broad knowledge base to clients and referral sources.
Experience in Delaware trust law is preferred.
