ABB Power Grids is currently seeking a Legal Counsel Cyber Security professional for its Atlanta, Georgia location. The role will be responsible for ensuring implementation, monitoring and reviewing applicable laws, regulations and policies regarding cyber security. The position will guide and counsel stakeholders to ensure comprehension and coordination of the necessary legal measures concerning cyber security matters. In addition, the individual will advise and represent the Power Grids Business’ interests regarding cyber security matters including serving on Power Grids’ incident and product vulnerability response team.
Serves as legal counsel for global Power Grids cyber security matters.
Ongoing monitoring of applicable laws, regulations and policies.
Develops, implements and maintains cyber security legal strategy, standards, directives, policies, procedures and standard contract provisions.
Provides strategic legal advice to meet strategic goals and to protect business reputation and interests and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Serves on cross-functional incident and product vulnerability response team. Prepares for and responds to cyber security incidents and product vulnerability issues, including providing legal advice concerning impact analysis, response, and communications.
Responsible for advising on, drafting, and negotiating cyber security provisions in complex commercial transactions.
Manage outside counsel
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and bar admission and minimum 12 years of general corporate or digital legal experience in-house or at a law firm with minimum 5 years cyber security legal experience in-house or at a law firm.
Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the United States
