Overview: FMC Corporation is seeking an Intellectual Property Counsel (“IP Counsel”) who will be based in the Company’s Philadelphia, PA headquarters office and report directly to FMC’s Chief Intellectual Property Counsel. The IP Counsel will join a top-flight legal team to work in a fast-paced environment on intellectual property matters of significant consequence to FMC. This vital role provides an ideal professional environment for a confident, proactive, commercially-minded lawyer with high levels of autonomy balanced with organization and team needs, and an ability to manage challenging significant matters.

Experience: Approximately 5-7+ years of relevant experience practicing as an intellectual property associate with a top law firm and/or as in-house counsel with a well-known company. A science degree (preferably advanced) in a chemistry or biology-related discipline, is required. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in pragmatic, strategic, business-astute counseling on patents, trade secrets and trademarks, and related contract matters, as well as excellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills.
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
