Seeking regulatory attorney to advise and represent PSEG companies before state regulatory commissions, predominantly the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. Please note this is a multi-level position. The title and grade will be dependent upon the candidate’s level of skill, knowledge, and experience, among other factors.
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school in the United States
Admitted to the bar in New Jersey (or ability to be admitted after hire)
A minimum of five (5) years of experience working on regulatory matters before one or more state regulatory commissions
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Legal analytical ability
Professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer/client focus
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as a member of a diverse team
Candidate must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity
Desired Qualifications and Competencies:
Experience before state regulatory agencies such as the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, the New York Public Service Commission, or other similar regulatory agencies
Experience in utility ratemaking/rate cases
Experience working as an attorney in an in-house corporate law department or regulatory agency
