We are seeking an experienced Commercial Brand Attorney with 5+ years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience. Experience must be with branded pharmaceutical products. The Attorney will be primarily responsible for providing both strategic and legal advice regarding the commercialization of branded pharmaceutical products. The attorney will also be responsible for drafting, negotiating, reviewing and interpreting a broad range of agreements in support of Teva’s North America specialty operations. This position is based in Parsippany, New Jersey, and reports to the Associate General Counsel, North America Specialty.
The Attorney will provide legal support to a wide range of departments, including sales, marketing, medical affairs, regulatory and compliance. The Attorney will participate in cross-functional meetings and serve as the legal representative on various product-related committees. The Attorney must have strong interpersonal communication skills, contract drafting and negotiation skills, be able to multi-task and prioritize assignments, and be willing to assist on additional matters outside of their primary responsibilities.
Ensure client operations comply with applicable laws, regulations and company policies, including without limitation, FDA, OIG, CMS, Sunshine Act, anti-kickback, fraud and abuse, anti-bribery, antitrust, privacy and product liability laws, rules, regulations and guidance.
Draft, negotiate, review and interpret a broad range of standard and non-standard commercial agreements associated with the North America business, including agreements with healthcare professionals, vendors, licensors, consultants and speakers as well as other types of agreements supporting the business.
Analyze advisory board proposals, speaker programs, patient assistance programs, and medical education initiatives for FCPA, fraud and abuse, FDA and other regulatory compliance.
Advise Medical Affairs, Medical Information, HEOR and Scientific Information teams on department activities.
Review and advise on media relations materials including press releases, standby statements and other company communications.
Ensure that interactions with healthcare professionals and patients comply with applicable legal requirements and company policies.
JD from an accredited law school; Good standing in the bar of New Jersey with 5+ years of relevant pharmaceutical experience.
