Sunbelt’s Commercial Counsel is empowered oversee a variety of transactional legal and regulatory matters, so we can make it happen for our customers.
Provide legal support and advice as part of a small in-house legal team. Position will involve diverse responsibilities, including contract review and negotiation, regulatory and other legal research, and direct interaction with personnel at all levels of the organization.
Education or experience that prepares you for success:
Law degree and Bar certification required
2+ years of researching or managing regulatory compliance in a corporate or law firm environment
2+ years of negotiating commercial contracts
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:
Distinguishing between regulatory legal requirements and laws/regulations from operational or strategic regulatory guidance
Interpreting the legal requirements and operational guidance from regulatory agencies for the business
