Currently, we're on the hunt for exceptional Equity Derivatives lawyers to join our ranks with:
2+ years of experience with stock loans, repos, swaps/options and secured lending, fund linked transactions
Exposure to complex structured transactions such as collateralized arrangements providing pay offs/protection to institutional investors as well as financing solutions
Ability to revise agreements, propose strategic language, and negotiate with opposing counsel
Equity and fund linked synthetic exposure in OTC and Note formats
Active NY bar admission
Working with the Equity Linked business, Compliance and other related departments to structure and document bespoke transactions and manage legal, regulatory and reputational risks associated with the business
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating bespoke transactional documentation, including, share buyback engagement letters, derivative confirmations and margin loan documentation and negotiating directly with clients
Advising on the taking of security interests in a wide variety of jurisdictions and drafting/reviewing associated documentation
Instructing, liaising with and managing external counsel in a variety of jurisdictions and reviewing associated legal opinions
Identifying and advising on all relevant corporate, regulatory and finance law issues relating to transactions.
Documenting bespoke OTC derivatives transactions, ideally in the Equities world.
