Major, Lindsey & Africa has been retained by GoGuardian on an exclusive basis to conduct a search for a Corporate Counsel – EdTech, who will serve as the second attorney in the company’s growing legal team. The Corporate Counsel – EdTech will have 4-7+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably gained both in private practice at a reputable law firm and in-house (ideally with a dynamic, quickly growing startup), and will be responsible for oversight of a high volume of government education contracts/RFPs, technology transactions and general corporate work. S/he will also serve as a strategic partner to the business as it continues to grow and evolve. The ideal candidate will have experience in a mix of these practice areas, particularly with previous experience in the educational technology space, though candidates who have a strong background in tech transactions but no government contracting experience will be considered.
