Parker & Lynch legal is seeking oil and gas attorneys with 5+ years of experience, including experience with master service agreements, drilling contracts, master time charters, compressor-rental agreements, production agreements, and similar contracts for use in oil-and-gas production. Candidates should have 5 years of experience in oil and gas title, title curative and transaction work within a law firm environment. No portable work necessary.
Experience working in upstream energy, including title examination, due diligence, and negotiation and drafting of relevant contracts is a plus. We are seeking exceptional analytical and writing skills, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
JD with a strong academic record
Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas
Licenses in other producing states, especially New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, are a plus, but not required
Experience examining title and drafting opinions
Experience with drafting and negotiating contracts
Embraces teamwork and values collaboration while exhibiting confidence and diplomacy
Excellent organizational and planning skills
