Position Overview: FibroGen seeks a seasoned attorney with commercial, compliance and contracting experience to manage diverse projects as part of its stable, well-staffed Legal department. S/he will provide transactional support for a variety of areas, including commercial contracting, compliance, clinical, manufacturing, and licensing. FibroGen offers a unique opportunity to work with an exceptionally strong in-house team on a diverse pipeline of clinical development, drug discovery and commercialization efforts across multiple jurisdictions.
Location: San Francisco, CA
Relos: yes – this is a national search, but locals are preferred.

Experience: 7-12+ years of experience as an attorney in a law firm or in-house legal environment in the biotechnology or pharmaceuticals industry. Experience with commercial and compliance support of marketed products is preferred. Contract drafting, and negotiation experience is required, including, (ideally) clinical and manufacturing agreements. The ability to speak and/or write Mandarin Chinese is helpful but not required.
