Position Overview: The Restructuring Counsel and Deputy Chief Counsel, Conflicts position in FTI’s Legal Department assists with the oversight of conflicts and client engagement issues, regarding both legal and business relationship concerns, particularly on client engagements involving matters pertaining to FTI’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring (“Corporate Finance”) business segment.
Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a private practice attorney specializing in restructuring, with an emphasis on bankruptcy transactions and litigation. Experience with conflicts review, preparation and drafting of disclosures, discussions with counsel and offices of the United States Trustees, and filings in Chapter 11 proceedings. Knowledge of litigation and arbitration proceedings in both domestic and international jurisdictions.
Compensation: Competitive base and bonus.
Location: Washington, D.C.
Relos: Yes, this is a national search; however, local candidates are preferred.
Bar: Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
