Bliss Lawyers is seeking a data privacy attorney to work for a large company in the San Francisco area. Qualified candidates will have at least three years of combined major law firm and in-house privacy practice with a focus on sourcing and IT services agreements. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding and experience in: online advertising, including underlying tracking technologies; cybersecurity and network monitoring and security; the payments industry; and also have one or more CIPP certification(s). The attorney hired for this role will review a variety of contracts that require privacy review and assessment and will be responsible for implementing new privacy templates and processes in sourcing agreements. Admission to the California bar is required. This is a full-time (40 hours per week), temporary role that is expected to last two months and may extend and/or convert to a permanent role with the company. Interviews will begin immediately and the position will begin as soon as qualified candidates are identified.
