The Litigation Specialist will have responsibility for the handling of litigated files in a multi-state and multi-line environment. This includes the evaluation, settlement and handling of 1st and 3rd party property claims of medium-to-high severity and complexity. This individual will also complete the appropriate reports and communicate with Senior Management on both a local and home office level.
Juris Doctor or an adjuster license is a plus.
Must demonstrate extensive knowledge of the claim process at all levels, as well as the ability to evaluate large and complex claims is required.
Must be able to work in a collaborative atmosphere with vendors.
Must be computer literate; Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Must have ability to analyze facts and make decisions, self-starter, and excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Driving Record.
