Leading professional services firm providing innovative systems and products to government and commercial customers worldwide seeks to hire an accomplished government contracts lawyer. This position will support one of the company’s largest and most innovative business divisions.
A unique feature of this positions is the ability to serve as an operations counsel for several business groups. While maintaining your government contracts core focus, you will gain experience akin to that of a generalist in-house counsel for a small company supporting a business division with all of its legal needs.
Experience with FAR and DFARS ideally obtained in the following practice environments (firm and in-house, firm and federal government, federal government only).
Position requires eight years’ prior experience in federal procurement matters.
Ability to respond to a range of legal issues that arise from diverse business activities is required as is the ability to work collaboratively and build internal relationships.
Workplace location: flexibility to work near Baltimore or Dulles corridor.
