The Inland Real Estate Group, LLC has engaged Major, Lindsey & Africa (“MLA”) on an exclusive basis to conduct a search for an Assistant Counsel to be located in Oak Brook, Illinois.
This position, which will be located in Oak Brook, Illinois, requires an Undergraduate degree from a well-known university/college combined with a J.D. from a top tier law school law school, membership in good standing to the State Bar of Illinois, and a minimum of three (3) years corporate legal experience, with substantial experience drafting private placement memoranda and any necessary supplements, as well as related offering documentation, drafting and management of corporate and organizational documents and drafting and negotiation of management agreements and other third party operating agreements, preferably at a top-tier law firm.
The candidate, reporting to the Assistant General Counsel/Securities, will be responsible for transactional securities work, with an emphasis on Reg D Private Placements, and general corporate work. Experience with a real estate company will be considered an advantage.
