Fabulous opportunity to join the Northern, VA HQ of an international consultancy that operates in multiple industries as an Associate Manager Contracts. The Associate Manager Contracts will become an integral business partner with operating groups and provide integral contracts support across multiple, non-federal markets, including commercial, international, and state and local government. This company offers a family-friendly work environment and great growth potential when current supervisor retires in approximately 5 years.
Review RFP’s consistent with corporate policy;
Draft and negotiate contracts with customers, including NDAs and teaming agreements;
Identify unresolved risk in contracts and interface with internal teams, including PM, Finance, Contracts, and Operations, to resolve issues; and
Obtain approvals and maintain contract documentation consistent with established corporate practices.
JD with 7 plus years relevant experience;
Strong experience protecting intellectual property rights and with the Uniform Commercial Code (Article 2) highly preferred;
Hands on, deal-closing experience across multiple markets including commercial and international projects;
Experience with US federal government contracts a plus;
Self-motivated person who works well with all levels of internal and external clients; and
Ability to work in a high-paced environment while juggling multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines.
