Major, Lindsey & Africa has been retained by The Aerospace Corporation to conduct a search for its next Associate General Counsel. Based in El Segundo, CA, Aerospace is a private, nonprofit corporation that has operated a federally funded research and development center (FFRDC) for the United States Air Force since 1960, providing objective technical analyses, systems engineering and assessments in support of the United States of America’s national security, and civil and commercial space programs.
Reporting directly to Aerospace’s General Counsel, the successful candidate will have at least fifteen years of broad-based legal experience with significant government contracts and commercial transactional work and some exposure to two or more of the following areas of legal practice: litigation, intellectual property (including copyright matters), general corporate, nonprofit organizations, ERISA and employee benefits, social media, or real estate.
TS/SCI clearance is required. Local candidates are preferred.
