The Parker + Lynch Legal team is working with a global, publicly-traded company in North Carolina that is adding a Senior Corporate Counsel to its legal team in Charlotte. The person selected for this position will support the Deputy General Counsel and senior business leadership by leading and managing a wide array of contractual matters. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled contracts expert to develop and implement advanced, streamlined contracting processes while serving as the primary point of contact for contracting matters in a growing, public company.
Qualified candidates will have:
6+ years of experience with contract matters, with at least 3 of those years in an in-house legal environment;
Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, coupled with an interest in developing and implementing templates, playbooks, and training for use with business teams involved in commercial, procurement, IT, IP and a range of other contracting matters;
Experience working with and supporting fast-moving business teams;
A willingness to embrace new challenges and take on numerous different projects and tasks;
Comfort working in a dynamic, fluid, and expanding legal team.
