Our client, a privately-owned global company, is seeking a General Counsel to fill a key leadership role at its U.S. corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas. The primary focus of this role is to oversee all legal needs for the company including overseeing acquisitions and dispositions of international entities, general transactional matters, negotiating key contracts, advising on labor and employment issues, and managing the continuing expansion of the company. This executive will manage a small internal legal team and outside counsel, instructing on regulatory matters, counseling the company’s management on risk, and drafting and negotiating contracts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience and strong business acumen. Entrepreneurial candidates with prior in-house experience are preferred.
