Provide solution-focused legal advice on a wide range of business matters related to health care law and managed care such as: Medicaid and Medicare issues, state and federal Exchange requirements, pharmacy benefit management, and privacy and security matters
Provide advice and guidance to market and clinical business units on regulatory and industry developments, including the proactive identification and assessment of regulatory risks and the ongoing monitoring and tracking of relevant regulatory updates
Work closely with the market-based health plan personnel to ensure market initiatives receive proactive legal support
Interact with management team as well as with external representatives of the legal system, regulatory agencies, governmental entities and others
Perform any other job related instructions, as requested
Education / Experience:
Completion of a Juris Doctorate degree program from an accredited college/university is required
A minimum of five (5) years of in-house legal experience is required
A minimum of three (3) years of managed care experience or comparable experience is required

Member in good standing of a State Bar
Current, unrestricted license in state of practice is required
