Overview: The Senior Legal Counsel – Regulatory is responsible for providing legal advice and counsel throughout the organization in support of a variety of areas as assigned, predominantly regarding health law regulatory compliance and healthcare transactional matters. As such, s/he will have familiarity with a variety of healthcare regulatory matters and will work to ensure that various policies, procedures, programs and contracts of the hospital and its affiliates are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations—and will issue spot and work towards resolution when compliance issues arise. Additionally, this role will work closely with stakeholders in various departments to help set and adhere to the organization’s strategic and operational goals.
Experience: 7 - 10+ years of substantive experience in providing healthcare regulatory and compliance advice and counsel, preferably obtained both in-house and at a reputable law firm.
Relocation: Yes, however, local candidates are strongly preferred.
