Overview: The Assistant General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer will lead, oversee and direct the global compliance function for Nouryon. This includes anti-corruption (including FCPA/UK Anti-Bribery), competition, ethics, privacy (GDPR) and trade/export well as overseeing investigations in those areas worldwide in conjunction with Nouryon’s regional counsel.
Company: Nouryon is a leading global specialty chemicals manufacturer, providing essential chemistries/chemicals for diverse end-markets, including agriculture, cleaning, construction, food, fuels, oil and gas, personal care, pharmaceuticals, plastic applications (automotive) and pulp and packaging.
Compensation: Competitive base, bonus and equity, commensurate with experience.
Experience: 10+ years of legal experience in investigations, compliance, regulatory enforcement, or related legal matters with a top-tier international law firm or both a top-tier international law firm and a global company. Expertise in running a global compliance program including areas such as anti-corruption, competition, privacy and trade as well as experience conducting investigations (including interviews) is highly desired.
Relocation: Relocations will be considered. This position will be based in Philadelphia, PA with travel to Amsterdam, The Netherlands and other company offices and locations.
Travel: Up to 30% international travel to Amsterdam, The Netherlands and other company offices and locations. Because of the international focus of the job, there are often calls in the early morning or evening.
