To manage commercial, employment and litigation matters involving the business, proactively mitigate legal risks through employee training sessions and other initiatives, and perform such additional tasks as assigned by the Assistant General Counsel.
Draft, review and negotiate various agreements, including supply, sales and distribution, contract manufacturing, marketing and endorsement, licensing, real estate, services, confidentiality and indemnity agreements, as needed for the business to achieve its strategic objectives
Manage litigation, government investigations, third-party subpoenas and other disputes involving the business, including lawsuits, EEOC charges, and disputes with suppliers/customers, and engage/assist/supervise outside counsel as necessary to ensure litigation is handled effectively and efficiently
Provide employment counsel as needed to ensure compliance with applicable laws, including development and review of policies and programs, employee training sessions, and advice regarding employee hirings, separations, grievances and other issues that arise day-to-day

General business and commercial law experience, including advising clients on commercial transactions and business development needs
Experience handling class action and other complex litigation in multiple jurisdictions considered a plus
Experience handling employment and labor matters considered a plus
Experience with FDA food and dietary supplement law considered a plus
Member in good standing of the Florida bar
