This is an exceptional career opportunity working as part of the European Regulatory and Regulatory Litigation Team in a global pharmaceutical business that is closely connected to the heart of its operational strategy.
You will work within the European Regulatory & Litigation Team as a member of a high profile legal team. The legal team are forward thinking, strategic in their decision making and prepared to push boundaries where necessary, challenge the norm and be cutting edge in their approach. Professional growth is encouraged across the team with the team regularly collaborating on project ideas whilst working indepedently on your own portfolio of projects.
You will be UK & Wales, European or qualified in another common law jurisdiction and have experience of no less than 5 years post qualified. Whilst ideal, it is not essential, you will also have a Science Degree and then moved into Law.
In this role you will:
Have specific expertise and knowledge in pharmaceutical regulatory law and litigation. You may be a Regulatory Lawyer who seeks more exposure to work with the legal team across Regulatory & IP Litigation matters.
Work across diverse regulatory matters including patents, regulatory affairs, commercial matters, product launches and strategies.
Recommend and implement new strategies along with adding value to the business by recommending and implementing successful legal disputes.
Work with external law firms and counsel and negotiate settlements.
Manage dispute resolution processes and improve efficiencies or prevention of disputes.
Prepare strategic advices, work on marketing access strategies and other projects and requests.
Ideally you will:
Have a background that is focused in pharmaceutical regulatory law, strategy and legal advice.
Be experienced in or have a desire to work across litigated matters.
Have experience dealing with EU regulatory authorities.
Have a track record of managing a case load.
Have a high degree of integrity and an ability to be an effective communicator and advisor.
Be experienced in multi-party disputes.
Be experienced in settlement negotiations.
