Firm Advice is conducting a search for an experienced healthcare attorney to assist a major Northern, Virginia company with modification of commercial contracts. Attorney will work with in-house counsel as well as local counsel on a national basis. Hours are flexible, and responsibilities are expected to take between 10 and 30 hours per week. Project will begin approximately June 1 and anticipated duration is six months.
JD and membership in at least one US bar;
Five plus years’ healthcare regulatory experience, particularly HIPPA, is required;
Experience representing a skilled nursing facility or residential health care provider is a plus;
Two plus years’ experience drafting and negotiating agreements preferred;
Experience working in an in-house legal department is a plus; and
Experience working on a remote basis is a plus.
Much of the work can be conducted on a remote basis but please only local candidates apply as attendance at periodic meetings will be required.
