Our client seeks a Jr. Attorney for a litigation role, titled Director and Corporate Counsel, to join its legal team in Bucks County, in the Bensalem area. Will train in areas where necessary but is seeking law firm litigation experience.
The goal here to convert to a permanent position which position would include a competitive benefits package and a salary commensurate with the expected level of experience and skills.
Overview Of Position:
-This is a wonderful opportunity for a junior attorney to join a great legal team. In this role you would be responsible for leading and managing the client's claims and litigation matters, which may include: general liability, commercial disputes, personal injury and tort related cases.
-This role will be the primary point of contact with insurance claims agents and outside counsel, and have responsibility for reviewing pleadings, motions and briefs, and coordinating responses to discovery requests.
-This position reports directly to and works closely with the Assistant General Counsel and will also have interaction with the General Counsel and the rest of the legal team.
-In this position you would also be involved in certain licensing matters essential to the company business: you would monitor licensing requirements and oversee the licensing team, ensuring that all licenses are obtained/maintained in a timely manner.
Education and License:
-You must possess a JD from a nationally recognized law school and be a member in good standing of at least one State Bar, Pennsylvania preferred, with NO disciplinary record from ANY jurisdiction;
-You must possess 3-5 years of litigation experience in a law firm, handling all aspects of litigation.
