Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA) has been exclusively retained by Delta Global Services (Company) to conduct a search for a Senior Labor and Employment Counsel position.
Overview: DGS Inc. seeks an experienced attorney to join its legal team in Atlanta to be chiefly responsible for the Labor & Employment components of the company’s business from both a strategic and tactical perspective. The position is part of a newly formed legal team, and reports to the Senior Vice President & General Counsel.
Company: Delta Global Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Airlines will be combined with Argenbright Holdings, LLC to form a premier aviation and ground handling service provider under the DGS name. The new DGS, under the management of the Argenbright team, is strongly positioned to provide un-paralleled service as a “best-in-class provider of airline related services. While Delta Airlines retains a strong equity interest in DGS, Argenbright Holdings holds the majority interest this new company. DGS currently provides services to Delta and other airlines in more than 170 airport locations in the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and the Bahamas. As growth is expected, global expansion is expected.
Compensation:Competitive compensation and benefits package.
Experience: This role requires 12-15+ years of labor & employment law practice that ideally combines top-tier law firm training with in-house counsel experience on the full range of labor and employment matters including advice and counseling on compliance with applicable laws, traditional labor matters including unions, litigation dispute resolution, as well as class action cases, particularly in California.. General litigation experience also strongly is preferred.
