Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA) has been exclusively retained by Reliance Worldwide Corporation (RWC) (Company) to conduct a search for a General Counsel position.
Overview: Reporting to the CEO the General Counsel (GC) will serve as a member of the senior executive team and is responsible for all legal affairs of the corporation. The GC will manage the work of the company’s internal legal function, as well as outside counsel, on contracts, M&A, compliance, product liability, intellectual property, employment and litigation issues. The GC will also provide business advice on both strategic and operational matters and will be a key partner in the creation and execution of the company’s strategy.

Compensation:Competitive salary and benefits.
Experience: 15+ years of legal experience with a strong background as a corporate generalist including: contracts, compliance, employment, litigation management, complex transactions (including M&A), intellectual property and product liability matters. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated leadership skills and strong management experience. A combination of top tier law firm and in-house experience is strongly preferred. Prior experience in a global manufacturing and distribution business would be ideal.

Bar: Admission to the Bar of any jurisdiction in the United States and able to qualify for the in-house exception in Georgia.
