Overview: The Senior Counsel, Corporate and Compliance will be part of the Corporate legal team reporting to the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for PPL Services Corporation, and will be located in Allentown, PA.

Compensation: A competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, an incentive bonus, annual long-term equity incentive, and other benefits including Company-sponsored plans.
Experience: 10+ years of general corporate experience, with significant focus on providing legal support for compliance and ethics matters for one or more publicly-traded companies. Candidates will also have supported and overseen compliance programs and processes, led or participated in privileged compliance investigations and managed related litigation, and developed a strong understanding of public company compliance, reporting, and governance frameworks. Outside of the compliance area, the ideal candidate will have broad legal experience to provide support for the growing areas of sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and in-house corporate experience in one or more areas of general corporate practice such as supporting corporate, financial and strategic transactions, or providing dedicated legal support to an operating unit or shared service. Candidates must be proactive, business-savvy counselors, flexible and eager to work in a dynamic legal environment, must anticipate legal risks, craft workable solutions, and provide clear and practical advice to clients. A combination of law firm training and prior in-house experience is highly preferred.
