ACADIA Pharmaceuticals, the publicly traded biopharmaceutical company responsible for Nuplazid, the first and only FDA-approved medication for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease psychosis, has retained Major, Lindsey & Africa on an exclusive basis to conduct a search for its new Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer. Reporting directly to ACADIA’s General Counsel and based out of the company’s San Diego, California headquarters, the VP & CCO will play an integral role in building out and continually strengthening the compliance culture at this growing company. S/he will be an experienced attorney and compliance professional with a minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience in-house and/or in private practice, including at least three years spent in a management position within the corporate compliance organization at a pharmaceutical or biotech company, supporting both marketed products and products under development. The winning candidate will also be familiar with relevant state and federal laws and regulations, including anti-kickback, PDMA and FCPA, fraud and abuse, and government price reporting.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
